About Roberta Shagam

Welcome,

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work, I have over 30 years of experience. I’ve helped families from all walks of life. Through various techniques, which we discuss in our first free half hour session, we will evaluate what resonates with you to enable you to live a life that fosters healing, understanding, and connection with your children.

I help parents build stronger, more peaceful family lives. Parenting is rewarding, but it also comes with challenges, and you don’t have to face them alone.

The methods I use are tried and tested. Their success depends on our shared commitment.

My extensive work experience with families contributes to an in-depth understanding of parents’ struggles in raising children. I will guide you through the twists and turns of creating the family life you dream of.

Change begins with you, and with the right support, remarkable progress is possible.

For ongoing support, fresh perspectives, and practical parenting tips, I invite you to visit my blog every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Just click on the BLOG tab for helpful and inspiring articles that will enrich your journey.

My Mission:

From Stuck to Strong: Somatic Therapy for Parents

I offer a supportive and safe space for parents, and those with legal guardianship.

In our work together, the tools you will gain will create a powerful ripple effect across all areas of your life.

My goal is to guide you toward practical, meaningful steps so that you don’t just “get by,” but truly grow, heal, and thrive, even in the face of life’s difficulties.

NO ONE PERSON IS TO BLAME

There are many factors that impact one’s parenting:

  • Core life patterns that you have been living by without being aware of.
  • Being “triggered” — We will talk about this in our meetings.
  • False beliefs that parents have about parenting, such as: to be a good parent one must spend hours with one’s child.

There is no shortcut to achieving your dream of becoming the parent you have imagined yourself to be.
But the good news is that you don’t have to feel alone or helpless ANYMORE — I am here to help.

The longer you allow your children’s behavior to get out of control, the longer it will take to make a change.
